The urge to crush it was still strong, but she decided to save it for later, instead choosing to take it with her on her errands.

The day was filled with teasing and torment for the tiny figure held captive in Maryana's shoe. She walked around the mall, showing off her prized possession to anyone who would look and listen. By the time she finished her errands, Maryana was exhausted but satisfied. She decided to reward her captive with a little more comfort before putting it away for the night. Carefully, she lifted her foot and peeled back the sock, revealing the tiny, trembling figure clinging to her sweaty sole. She plucked it off and held it up to the light, examining its every feature.

"Looks like this one's had enough adventure for one day," she said, reaching for a clear plastic bag. "But don't worry, I have plans for you tomorrow." With a mischievous grin, she placed the tiny form into the bag, sealed it shut, and tucked it away safely for the night.

As she drifted off to sleep, Maryana couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of all the fun she'd had today.
