Unbeknownst to Alice Rivers, her giantess best friend Cleo giggled mischievously as she laid eyes on the text messages her vertically-challenged friend was sending to her douchebag boyfriend. At almost 7 foot tall, Cleo towered over her 4'6" friend, making Alice feel even smaller and more insignificant.

Despite her towering presence, Cleo couldn't help but play a little game with her friend. She snatched Alice's phone, holding it just out of her reach and teasingly reading aloud the messages that caused her such embarrassment. Alice tried to reach for her phone, jumping and stretching as high as she could, but it was clear that she was just out of her friend's league.

After much laughter and mocking from Cleo's end, she finally gave in to her friend's pleas and reluctantly returned the phone to Alice. However, she couldn't resist one last jab before doing so; once again, she raised the phone just beyond Alice's grasp, making her friend reach even higher before finally letting her have back her precious device.

As Alice sat there, red-faced and panting from the effort of trying to reach her phone, she couldn't shake off the feeling of inadequacy that consumed her. Her tall friend was always reminding her of how short she was, and it seemed like no matter how hard she tried, she could never reach Cleo's level.

Despite the humiliation Alice felt, a small part of her was grateful for Cleo's honesty. She knew that deep down, her douchebag boyfriend didn't deserve her attention, and maybe her friend's tough love would make her see that. Still, it stung every time Cleo made her jump or stretch just to prove how out of her reach she truly was.

In the end, Alice promised to never text that boyfriend again, even though she knew it was probably a promise she couldn't keep. Deep down, she just wanted Cleo to be proud of her, to see her as more than just her shortcomings. But Cleo's towering presence always served as a constant reminder of just how far apart they truly were.
