Cali, a talented chemist, finds herself in a predicament when an impatient supervisor demands she find human volunteers for her latest experiment. She's hesitant, knowing the potential dangers of her compound, but feels backed into a corner. Mixing a sample, she takes a deep breath before chugging it down. As she does, she experiences an unprecedented reaction – hiccups that trigger massive growth spurts.
The first hiccup sends her shooting up a couple of inches taller, stretching her clothes and heightening her discomfort. The second one catches her off guard, causing her eyes to widen in fear as she realizes this isn't stopping anytime soon. Her shirt buttons pop off, revealing her swelling chest, and her skirt rides up her legs as it struggles to contain her expanding frame. She stumbles against the wall, trying to maintain balance as the room spins around her.
Despite the overwhelming sensation, Cali manages to brace herself against the wall and attempt to control the hiccups.
