Back home, Red Riding Hood is faced with a problem: she can't swallow the woodsman whole due to his hairy body. In a fit of rage and frustration, she grabs an axe and chops him up into small, easily digestible pieces. The wolf, having witnessed this brutal display of power, pleads for mercy and promises never to disobey again.
