As Vanessa's biological father was out of town on business, her giant stepdad Lalo Cortez had volunteered to come pick her up from school. Relieved that she had finally found someone to take care of her, Vanessa quickly introduced herself. "I'm Vanessa, your stepdaughter," she replied softly, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "I'm sorry for asking, but my dad isn't able to come pick me up today. Would you mind if I could call you 'stepdad' when we get home? I promise to explain everything then."
The giant woman, who stood several feet taller than Vanessa, nodded understandingly. "Of course, Vanessa. I'd be happy to help out. You just call me 'Dad' from now on, okay?" she said with a reassuring smile. As they walked towards the car together, Vanessa couldn't help but feel a strange new sensation growing inside her. It was a mix of excitement and curiosity as she found herself drawn to this towering figure who would now become her surrogate giant stepdad.

"Thank you, Dad," she replied excitedly, stepping closer to him. Reaching up, she wrapped her arms around his legs, hugging him tightly. For a moment, they simply stood there, savoring the feel of each other's warmth and embrace. Then, without warning, Lalo did something that sent shockwaves through Vanessa's entire body – he picked her up off the ground with ease.
