Jeanette's temper snapped, and in a fit of rage, she threw the fruit basket off the counter, sending a rain of juicy orbs bouncing across the floor. A dozen little people spilled out, waves of guilt washing over their faces as they scrambled to pick up the fallen fruit and escape her wrath. But it was too late, for Jeanette had seen enough.
