In a quiet suburban town, a young boy is minding his own business when he notices something strange out of the corner of his eye. He turns to see a mysterious girl pointing a ray gun at him. Before he knows it, he feels himself shrinking. He tries to run, but his legs are getting harder to move as he gets smaller and smaller. The shrinking effect of the ray gun is taking hold, and the boy knows there's nothing he can do about it. Suddenly, he finds himself tiny—as small as a piece of sand. He's terrified and doesn't know what to do next.

Meanwhile, back at home, his younger and much taller step-sister is just getting off the school bus. She's surprised to see her big step-brother nowhere in sight. She goes inside and finds him, but he's not the same. He's way shorter than her now, and he's still shrinking. She's puzzled but also excited about this situation. He takes advantage of the situation and does something dirty to one of the dolls—revenge for all the times she used to tease him about playing with dolls when he was a kid. He does as he's told, but when she finally checks on him, she's surprised to find him trying to climb out of the doll's leg. She decides that he's not acting right and punishes him by shrinking him even smaller.

She starts to panic, wondering what could have happened to him. Meanwhile, his stepsister is busy using the tiny man as she pleases, playing with him like a toy.

Finally, she grows tired of playing and decides to hide him away. She finds a glass of water and places him in it, saying that he can swim free. She leaves the room, not realizing the danger she's put him in. His stepmom comes back into the room, completely unaware of the tiny man floating in her drink. She takes a sip and nearly chokes on him. She realizes what's going on and is horrified. She quickly spits out the tiny man and tries to find out who's responsible for this.

As she searches for answers, the tiny man is left to fend for himself. He's scared out of his wits, not knowing what's going to happen next. His stepmom eventually finds out that it was his stepsister who put him in the glass of water. She's furious and decides to teach her a lesson. She puts the tiny man in her hands and squeezes him as hard as she can, crushing him between her fingers. It's over for the tiny man, or so he thinks.

In the final twist, it's revealed that the mysterious girl who'd been shrinking all the men in the town was actually stepmom's friend. She'd given
