As Ciarra stepped into the airport terminal, she felt a surge of excitement coursing through her veins. The holiday season was upon them, and she had planned the perfect getaway with her step-brother. She glanced down at her phone, checking the time once again as she scanned the crowd for any sign of him. Finally, she spotted him emerging from the arrival gate, looking lost and disoriented. She rushed over to him, a warm smile spreading across her face. "You made it!" she exclaimed, slipping her arm through his as they made their way through the crowd. "Come on, let's get checked in and head to our gate." Murmuring softly, she continued, "I can't believe I'm actually getting to spend some quality time with my favorite little step-brother." She laughed softly, nudging him gently with her elbow. The feeling of his small frame pressed against hers sent a shiver down her spine.

As they approached the check-in counter, Ciarra could feel the weight of his stare burning a hole in her back. She turned around to face him, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. "What's wrong, sweet pea?" She asked softly, her voice tinged with concern.

His cheeks reddened even more at the nickname, and he ducked his head sheepishly. "Nothing... I just, well, I caught that shrinking virus, and I'm worried they'll find out while we're traveling," he mumbled, the words barely audible against the din of the bustling airport. Ciarra's heart skipped a beat, her mind racing as she tried to come up with a plan to keep him hidden from the prying eyes of security personnel.
