Hello class, welcome! oh, no one’s here! how strange, maybe everyone’s running late? or maybe i’m early? oh my god there are bugs all over the floor, i must squash them immediately with my ballet flats. wait a minute, you’re my students! i do apologise, i didn’t realise my students today were all going to be so small!! right, let’s start the class then. i want to talk you through the right kind of shoes to wear for ballet – you can see i’m wearing ballet flats at the moment, but look how my heel pops out if i point my toes. no good! so here are my soft ballet shoes and my pointe shoes. let’s do some exercises together and you can see how my shoes work. oops, i must make sure not to squash you!
